I've shared before that I love to update wood items from Goodwill to use as shelves and displays. I always find these little curio displays, and I dressed this one up to put in my daughter's room. Now she can safely store her little Squinkies out of her baby brother's reach.
Wood tray from Goodwill
Glu6 Craft Paste
The first thing I did was spray paint the wood. After that,
Step one: Cut paper to fit.
Step two: Paint the paper with Glu6 paste and adhere. This paste is awesome! No wrinkling or discoloring my paper!
Step three: Paint a strip of ribbon with the paste and adhere it to the wood.
Step four: Adhere embellishments with Glu6 Original formula.
Your shadow box is now ready to be filled!
This quick, easy project can be altered to fit any decor. Make it look more sophisticated or boyish by simply changing the paper and embellishments.
