  4. I love flip flops but they're just so....plain.  With a few supplies, and a little bling from Styled by Tori Spelling, I completely transformed my clearance flip flops.

  7. Yep, it's David and me this weekend.  Or at least his bridal collection and me.  :)

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to craft with David Tutera's bridal line.  I spent over an hour at Michael's today checking out the entire collection and dreaming up projects.

This collection is gorgeous and has beautiful items at several price points, making DIY wedding crafting doable for brides on any budget.

Check out this short video I made of the goodies I received, and let me know what you would make if you were crafting for a wedding!

  12. Show and Tell: Heart Bombing Fun!

    Sunday, February 10, 2013

I am beyond THRILLED that so many of you have embraced CAKE.   I've received several touching e-mails and messages about some of your heart bombing escapades.  These pictures come from my dear friend Kristy and her daughter, Lily.  I love their creativity!

Jenn left this fun story on my Facebook page:

"Well, you have to remember that it was a 9 year-old excited to spread some heart bombs. He managed to sneak one onto the door to his classroom & had the teacher very perplexed. He didn't claim responsibility until the end of the day when he took it off of the door in front of her & she then knew it was him. He explained the term, "heart-bombing," and instead of leaving his bomb, he took it with him!  Oh well. E for effort!"

That story makes me smile every time I read it.  Too cute!

If you don't know about CAKE or how to link up to our heart bombing "challenge", read this post.

One last brag, if I may:  I'm DecoArt's featured artist this month!!  EEEEK!!  I'm very, very flattered.  I'd love for you to take a peek at my interview over there (and leave a comment if you like!)
