Make a Magnetic Fishing Game using Phoomph and Fabric Scraps

With summer coming up, I'm in need of activities that I can do with my kids that will keep them busy for a while.  Enter PHOOMPH, an ingenious product that makes it easy to do fabric crafts with kids, without the need for needle and thread.  I used Phoomph to create a fun, magnetic fishing game that is portable.  Read on to learn how you can make your own!

Supplies used:

  • Phoomph
  • Fabric Scraps
  • Craft Wire
  • Dowel Rod
  • Twine
  • Button
  • Magnet
  • Glue

I've explained how to make this magnetic, portable fishing game in a video tutorial.  It's part of a series with Crafty Hangouts.  Keep watching till the end to see how my kiddos decorated their fish.  This project is simple and quick to make, thanks to Phoomph!

As I explained in the video, this project can be a great learning tool, too.  Have fun crafting and creating!
