I’ll admit, I’m not much of a sports person, but there are a few exceptions. One is SOCCER, and the other is MY SAN ANTONIO SPURS! I’ve always loved this team, and it’s such a thrill to see them heading back to the finals again. What’s making this year’s experience even more fun is trash talking chatting it up with other NBA TV fanatics on Beamly.
I mentioned in this post that I was having a blast chatting with other Walking Dead fans on Beamly. If you missed that post, Beamly is an online forum dedicated to anything and everything that’s on the television. There are shows, fan rooms, TV guides, and lots of other ways you can use the site. There are even parental controls, so you can limit what your kids have access to when they’re on the site.
Aside from talking about my favorite shows (including The Walking Dead, SYTYCD, and Late Night), I love being able to see my TV guide (when you create your account, you can set it up to show your local provider’s schedule). This way I can check what’s coming on, even if I’m not home. The other thing I love about Beamly is being able to set reminders. If there’s a special show that you want to make sure you catch, you can set a reminder, and even remind your friends on Beamly, that it’s coming on. This is a great feature if you don’t have a DVR or if you’re hosting a viewing party and want to remind your guests about the time!
As I mentioned when I started this post, I’ve joined the NBA finals room so I can talk smack interact with other people watching the finals. I just posted this fun meme and would love for you to join in the conversation! You can find it here.
I hope you’ll join me on Beamly, either to brag about the Spurs, to count down the days till The Walking Dead returns, or to chat about any other shows we might have in common. My profile is here, so if you add me, I’ll definitely add you back!
