Create a beautiful wall shelf when you update unfinished wood by using paint and paper.
You know those little items that you just don’t know what to do with? I’m talking about souvenirs, trinkets, ticket stubs, and those other little bits of nostalgia that are so hard to throw away. I decided to assemble some of my stash into little vignettes that will double as wall art. By decorating some unfinished wood shelves and adding a pop of color on the inside with paint and paper I was able to create color wall shelf organizers that I love to look at.
Supplies used to make wall shelf organizers:
- Darice Wood Shelves
- Americana Multisurface Paint: School Bus, Apple Green, Sky Blue, and Snow White
- DCWV™ Textured Cardstock Stack – Brights – 12 x 12 inches
- Mod Podge
- Painter’s Tape
