Fall lanterns add warmth to any room in the house! Use clear printable labels to customize your lanterns. This is a sponsored post but all ideas and opinions are my own.
I love to create my own custom decor by using printable labels. I can quickly and easily make my projects just the way I want them to be by using printable labels from OnlineLabels.com. I love how well the clear labels adhere to surfaces. The pantry labels I made several years ago are still in perfect condition and helping my keep things organized and attractive! I used those same clear labels to create these beautiful fall lanterns.
Supplies Used to make Fall Lanterns:
- OL5925CK Printable Labels
- OL475CK Printable Labels
- Four frames
- Glass votive candle
- Paint
- Glue
- Free falling leaves printable
Step one: Save my free printable file and print it out on the printable labels. I used my HP Envy color printer with the printable label sheets.
Step two: Disassemble the frames.
Step three: Paint the frames. I used a chalk paint from Plaid Crafts in the “Curry” shade. I think this yellow hue is perfect for fall projects. Two applications of paint were plenty.
Step four: While the paint dries, peel the printed labels off the backing and stick them on the glass from the frames.
Step five: Place the glass back in the frames.
Step six: Arrange the frames to make a square. Glue the frames together. I use E-6000 with a bit of hot glue to hold it together while the glue dries.
Step seven: Peel and stick two of the printed labels on the round votive candle jar.
Add a candle and your lantern is ready! Since you are printing these yourself you can customize them with other designs or messages as you like. Have fun crafting and creating fall lanterns!
