Giving homemade gifts for the holidays doesn’t have to be stressful or time consuming! Here’s a quick idea that’s super cute and easy to make, too.
I couldn’t believe my eyes when I found adorable Santa figurines at Dollar Tree marked TWO for $1.00. Of course, I loaded up. The mason jars are a past Dollar Tree find. Combined, they make a cute gift that would be perfect for teachers, neighbors, and friends. I really struggle with crafts for men, so this golfing Santa will be perfect for my son’s male teacher!
Supplies Needed:
- Santa figurine
- Mason jar
- Paint
- E-6000 (glue)
Step 1: If your lid is in two pieces like mine, glue it together. Paint the lid.
Step 2: Once it’s dry, use E-6000 to glue the figurine to the lid.
Step 3: Fill the jar with treats. My Santa is a golfer, so I’m on the look out for the chocolates that are wrapped to look like golf balls!

That’s really cute and it makes for an idea gift for people with hobbies such as golf. I was looking at one of those Christmas novelty catalogs that are sent this time of the year, and I swear there was a dollar store craft item of a mason jar on top of a candle stick holder. The title of the item, if I remember correctly, was a “redneck wine glass.” How hilarious! At least I thought so at the time.
This is so cute, and creative 🙂
Now that’s a great idea, going to have to head out to the shops, really cute idea for teacher gift. Pinning this
