Looking for a quick and easy holiday gift basket?
Look no further!
This basket took minutes to put together, and cost just $2.
Supplies:
Red metal basket (Dollar Tree)
Ribbon
Mini Ornaments (pack of 16 for $1.00 at Target’s dollar spot)
To make your own basket:
Step 1: String the ornaments on the ribbon.
Step 2: Wrap the ribbon around the basket and tie ends on to handles.
What could you fill it with? Reindeer candy cane treats are one fun idea (find the tutorial at Dollar Store Crafts). It’s also a pretty way to present a gift card. I used mine for a gift basket that’s being donated for our soccer club’s fundraiser. A local bounce place, Inflatable Wonderland, donated a gift of admission, pizza, and soda.
They also gave me a second voucher TO GIVE TO ONE OF MY READERS! If you’d like to enter, scroll to the bottom of the post to enter for a chance to win!
Always looking for something to do with the kids. Fingers crossed!
Cute! I have an urge to eat some candy canes now… yum
Hey fellow blogger! I stumbled upon your blog and thought I’d share some bloggy love by nominating you for a Liebster Blog Award. If you have’t heard of it (I hadn’t either until recently), it’s a way to share kuddos among the blogging community. You can read about it on my blog: http://asmithofalltrades.com/2012/11/27/liebster-blog-award/. Hope you had a great holiday and to hear from you soon! — Jess
P.S. Totally great idea! So festive 🙂
