Who doesn’t love party favors?  Here’s a collection of ideas for favors that can be made quickly and inexpensively.

For my CAKE (crafty acts of kindness everywhere) activity last month, I encouraged my readers to make or purchase party goods for The Birthday Party Project.
The Birthday Party Project is a wonderful group which provides birthday parties to children residing in shelters in North Texas.  They have a wishlist of items, which you can see here.  If you’d like to participate, you can mail your birthday party supplies here: The Birthday Party Project, 4385 Sunbelt Dr. Addison, TX 75001 .

These are some of the items I included in my package:

I made several items to use as favors or as favor bags.  Click on the name for a full tutorial.

The smaller items were packaged in my cake favor boxes.

Decorated pillow boxes

3D Paper Stars

Rings and hair pins:  made using cabochons.
Hair clips: made using Mod Melts.
Gift bags
Treat bags with Mod Melt clips

I haven’t made a tutorial for the cupcake box yet, but I love to make those and will try to get that up soon!

It was a pleasure to craft for a special group like the Birthday Party Project.  I hope you’ll join with me and lend them a hand!
