This platter will be a fun way to serve up treats for a party. The glass paint is not food safe, so keep that in mind as you plan your layout, but it would be a fun dish for wrapped items, cupcakes, etc.
The plate coordinates with my tiki party glasses and my raffia placemats.
Material used:
DecoArt Gloss Enamels Stencils: Party Time and Mod
Crystal Gloss Enamel Glass Paints: Pink Glitter, Crystal Clear Glitter, and Turquoise
Plate (Dollar Tree)
Step one: Use the Party Time hibiscus stencil and pink paint to make the flowers. Let it dry 24 hours.
Step two: Use the Mod stencil to create the pattern on the plate. I mixed the clear glitter and turquoise paints.
Repeat until the plate is covered.
Step three: Set the paint by baking the dish in the oven, following the instructions on the paint bottle.
Fun and cute, don’t you think? This retro party platter is perfect for an end of summer get together!
