I love to decorate with pumpkins in the fall! Pumpkins are  a decorative accent that last from September through Thanksgiving.  Fabric pumpkins are a fun, quick way to get your crafting fix and to create decorative items that match your home perfectly.  Here is a fun round up of 15 different ways you can make your own textile pumpkins, using various techniques and materials.
(This post first appeared at Fairfield World, where I am a Master Maker.)

I’ve included several different ways you can make fabric pumpkins in this round up.  Some of these tutorials involve sewing, but many of the tutorials are no sew projects.  Some of these tutorials use fabric pieces, while other involve recycling used clothing.  So grab your fabric or yarn, pull out your box of Poly-Fil, and let’s make some pumpkins for fall decorating!

Here are six fabric projects to get started with.  These no-sew projects are perfect for beginners and anyone looking for a quick, fun project.

I love a good upcycling project!  It’s so satisfying to take something that was headed to the trash and turn it into something useful.  Here are five different ways to reuse old textiles to make beautiful pumpkin decor.

Finally, here are three cute crochet pumpkins that you can make and stuff with Poly-Fil, plus an adorable candy corn tutorial that I had to include!  These projects make me want to learn how to crochet.

Which project do you like the best?  Have fun crafting and creating pumpkins to decorate your home with this fall!
