Supplies:
- Fabric leaves
- Gold paint
- Dimensional Magic
- Mirror
- Glue
Step one: Paint both sides of the leaves gold. I just love metallic craft paint! It really transforms the cheap looking fabric leaf.
Step three: Arrange the leaves as desired around the mirror, and glue them in place. I used hot glue.
It makes a gorgeous mirror, but if you don’t want to hang it up, you could set it on a table to create a pretty centerpiece. That’s what I did…I placed a battery operated candle in the center of it. I think it would look beautiful paired with this cracked glass votive that I showed you how to make recently.
I liked the leaves so much that I painted a few more to make a pair of earrings. (Pictured below.) They’re pretty, don’t you think? I can think of so many ways to use these pretty gold leaves: place settings, napkin rings, or to embellish cards. Have fun crafting and creating with faux gold leaves this fall!
So pretty! Love this idea!
