The New Xyron Creative Station Lite will be making its World Launch on HSN March 16. The CS Lite is so cute and compact! It not only holds Xyron 5″ Creative Station refills, it also holds a brand new 3″ refill. You can see a video of the Creative Station Lite HERE.
Supplies to Make Your Own Custom Flocked Cards:
- Xyron Creative Station Lite (5 Inch with 3 Inch Option)
- Cardstock
- Silhouette Cameo
- Cutting files: Deer head, dinosaurs
- Flocking Powder
- Wood Balloon Embellishment
Step one: Cut the designs from cardstock using the Silhouette Cameo.

Step two: Place the cardstock right side down and run it through the Creative Station to put permanent adhesive on the front of the cut paper design. Carefully peel the backing off to expose the adhesive, and place the image on a clean piece of paper.

I love that I can use vellum in the Creative Station and no adhesive shows on my finished project! With my Silhouette Cameo and my Creative Station I can make detailed cut designs and adhere them easily. I love being able to make my own flocked card embellishments! Here’s a close up of the flocking:

I’m participating with several other bloggers to share lots of fun Silhouette Cameo projects with you. Check out all the fabulous projects below, and click on the title to get the full tutorial!

That’s such a great idea! I love my Xyron, but I never even thought about how you could use it for flocking!

Such a great project! I have used flocked items but I didn’t know there was a machine where you could do your own flocking. Another item on the wishlist!
Wow – that Creative Station is amazing! I had no idea you could make anything flocked with it – such magic! Those cards are absolutely adorable – I just love all the colors and added embellishments 🙂
Thanks so much! It is a “must have” tool, I have to admit!
