I’ve mentioned before about my love/hate relationship with glitter. I love the sparkle but don’t like the mess. I also have a tendency to mess up the finish by touching to see if the glue is dry yet and being wrong. Impatient much? Yes. So when I was sent the new Xyron Creative Station Lite to use and I realized how well the adhesive works, I decided to break out the glitter again. No more messy glue or long drying times. Now I can glitter almost anything in under a minute. Paper, chipboard, even wood fit in the Creative Station Lite! I used wood cutouts to very quickly make sparkly gift tags that will go in Easter gifts this year.
The New Xyron Creative Station Lite will be making its World Launch on HSN March 16. The CS Lite is so cute and compact! It not only holds Xyron 5″ Creative Station refills, it also holds a brand new 3″ refill. You can see a video of the Creative Station Lite HERE.
Supplies to make a glitter wood tag:
- Xyron Creative Station Lite (5 Inch with 3 Inch Option)
- Wood Bunny Cutouts
- Craft Sticks
- Glitter
Step four: Peel the craft stick off the paper backing, and attach it to the back of the glittered bunny. The adhesive is strong enough to hold the two pieces together firmly. Cover the rest of the stick with glitter, and tap off the excess.
Easy, quick to make, and little mess to clean up! I was able to make a batch of these wood bunny tags in just a few minutes. They look adorable tucked into a plant pot. They would also make great tags for a coffee cup gift or a candy filled basket! Have fun crafting and creating with Xyron and glitter!
