My daughter, like many girls her age, is crazy about Shopkins!! When I saw this adorable stamp and die set from Lawn Fawn I was immediately inspired to try to make something Shopkins inspired for my little girl. I combined a few products from Lawn Fawn with a few of my favorite Xyron products to create these cute Shopkins inspired bottlecap pendants.
Supplies:
- Lawn Fawn Stamp sets: Make Lemonade and Year Three
- Lawn Fawn Die Cut: Make Me Smile
- Lawn Fawn Petite Paper Pack
- Xyron Creative Station
- Bottle Cap Pendants
- Mod Podge Dimensional Magic Glue

Step one: Stamp the desired image in black ink on the paper. Fussy cut the image out.
Step two: Use a one inch circle punch to cut the background papers.

Step three: Roll the cut pieces of paper, plus a rectangular piece of black cardstock, through the Xyron Creative Station, using the permanent adhesive refill. This turns all the paper pieces into stickers!
Step four: Die cut the adhesive backed black paper using the Make Me Smile die.

Step five: Assemble the pendant. First adhere the circle inside the bottlecap. Then add the fussy cut image. Finally, add the die cut eyes and mouth.

Step six: Fill the bottle cap with Dimensional Magic. Let it dry completely.
I’ve been eager to try out the magnetic refill for my Creative Station, and I realized I could use it to create a magnetic tag to hold my pendant for gift giving. Here’s how I made that:
Step one: Die cut two tickets from the patterned paper.

Step two: Use the Xyron Creative Station to add adhesive to the back of one ticket, and to add the magnetic sheet to the back of the other ticket.

Step three: Attach the tickets back to back, like a sandwich.

The pendant will be attracted to one side of the magnet and will stay put. Now you can box or bag your adorable Shopkins inspired pendant to give to a special friend.

Pretty cute, don’t you think? Nearly as cute as the Shopkins that inspired it, my daughter says!
This is a sponsored post, but all ideas and opinions are my own.
These are so CUTE! I saw this magnetic Xyron machine on Amy Rysavy’s blog a while back and am very intrigued by it! It looks ike a lot of fun!
Thank you! Yes, now that I’ve used the magnetic roll I’ll be making a LOT more magnets! 🙂
