Step five: Use stencil tape to mark two square spaces on the gray pillow case. Use the pouncer to add the silver glitter paint to the two squares. Remove the tape and let the project dry.
Step six: Place the heat set transfers on each painted pillow. Follow the package instructions to iron on the text and/or images. Make sure your iron is hot enough (use the cotton setting), and wait until the iron on is cool before peeling off the plastic cover sheet carefully. Be sure to iron the glitter paint, too, to permanently set the paint.
All that’s left to do is fill the pillows! I reused two old accent pillows for two of my throw pillows, but for the white pillow I used Poly-Fil, which is light and fluffy amd helps maintain the white color of the pillow case. I actually like the Pol-Fil pillow more so I’m going to change the other two. I’m hooked on these easy DIY accent pillows. I’ll never buy another throw pillow again now that I can make them without sewing!
