Step one: Pour a generous amount of glass paint into the mason jar. I start with enough to cover the bottom 1/2 inch of the jar, then add more as needed.
Step two: Swirl the paint around inside the jar. I like to put the lid back on and shake the jar to cover the interior of the jar with paint. Hold the jar upside down and let the excess paint drip out.
Step three: After the paint has dried for 4 days you can heat set the paint to make it permanent. Place the jars in a cold oven, then set the oven for 275 degrees. Let the jars bake for 20 minutes. Turn the oven off and let the jars cool down in the oven.
