Step four: Decoupage the paper onto the desired slats on the tree. I opted to only cover three slats on each tree and leave the lovely green paint showing on the others. Seal the top of the paper with decoupage to ensure that it adheres well to the wood.
Step five: When the paper is dry, gently sand the edges of the paper with a sanding tool.
Step six: Use hot glue to add button “ornaments” to the Christmas tree. Top the pallet Christmas tree off with old jewelry pieces.
