Step one: Mix paint with True Snow to achieve the desired color. I use a spatula tool to mix the paint into the texture medium. I use brown paint to create “chocolate” icing and pink paint to create “strawberry” icing.
Step two: Spread the tinted True Snow on the cupcake top the same way you would with real icing. I think it looks more authentic when I ice it like I do my own edible cupcakes. Press embellishments into the icing, like plastic flowers or seed beads, and let the “cupcake” dry for several hours.
