Step four: Cut a square silver “buckle” for the belt. Again, I used a die cutting machine and square dies to cut silver adhesive backed paper, but you could easily trace squares and cut them out with scissors.
Step five: Spell out “days until Christmas” with white stickers. I used my Silhouette cutting machine to cut flocked vinyl, but you can find similar stickers at the craft store to spell out the message.
Now that the giant tag is finished, all you have to do is hang it on your wall. Use chalk to fill in the square inside Santa’s faux belt buckle. This cute Christmas countdown takes up very little space, and it’s a fun way to brighten your wall for the holidays. Have fun crafting and creating for Christmas!
