Make clean and simple mirrored holiday cards to use this Christmas. This is a sponsored post with Fairfield World…at the heart of your projects.
I have become a big fan of the “clean and simple” style. Having things uncluttered is just so mentally soothing to me. I decided to use the clean and simple style to quickly create a whole bunch of mirrored holiday cards. These sleek looking cards are sure to impress!
Supplies used to make mirrored holiday cards:
- Silver Metallic Oly-Fun Fabric
- White Cards (blank)
- Ornament Cutting Dies
- Die Cutting Machine
- Tape Runner
- Silver string
- White Cardstock
Step one: Open the white cards and lay them on the die cutting mat. Place the die on the front panel of the card. Run the die through the die cutting machine to cut an ornament shaped “window” in the card.
Step two: Cut a piece of silver string. Place it in the opening of the ornament shape and over the top of the card. Tape the string to the back of the paper.
Step three: Cut a piece of metallic Oly-Fun to fit the ornament shape. Use a tape runner to add adhesive to the inside of the card, and attach the Oly-Fun Fabric so that the ornament shape is shiny and looks like a mirror.
Step four: Cut a piece of white cardstock to fit inside the card. Use the tape runner to glue the cardstock inside the card. This will give the inside of the card a more finished look and will hide where you taped the string and will cover the piece of Oly-Fun fabric.
These clean and simple cards are so easy to make that you can have several completed in no time. I love simple yet elegant cards like this because they are quick to make in bulk but they still look so chic. Have fun crafting and creating your own holiday cards this winter!
