Wood wedding chair signs are perfect to customize to create decor for the big day! Use these Mr. and Mrs. letters as chair signs or photo props.I love that brides and grooms are adding so many handmade touches to their big day!  Wedding Chair signs are a fun way to decorate, and they double as beautiful photo props.

Since these “Mr. & Mrs.” chair signs are made of wood they are durable and long lasting, and can be displayed long after the wedding day is over.  I was inspired by coloring pages to add a pretty pattern to the painted wood.  I used stamps, ink, and embossing powder to add sparkle and sophistication to this easy project.

Supplies Used to Make Wood Wedding Chair Signs:

Spray paint the letters with gold spray paint.

Use a background stamp (the one I used has a floral pattern that can be repeated) and ink to cover the letter with a pattern, similar to a coloring page!   I used silver pigment ink from Colorbox to add soft lustre to the letter.

Sprinkle clear glitter embossing powder over the ink, and tap off the excess powder to return to the container.

Use a heat tool to set the powder.  I wanted a subtle design, which is why I opted for silver ink and clear glitter powder.  If you want more contrast you can use darker inks and powders.

Attach the decorative ribbon to the wood letters with a staple gun.  Simply arrange the letters, lay the ribbon on top, and staple the ribbon on.

These wood wedding chair signs will look so sweet draped behind his and her chairs at a reception!  They can also be held between the couple as a pretty photo prop.

The wood letters can even be hung on a wall, like a banner, for a shower or reception decor.
