I used the colors in the shaker sprinkles as my inspiration colors for this card: red, white, two shades of green, and pink! Cut each of the shapes from the desired color. I used my Crossover II die cutting machine to easily cut from both paper and foam.
First I assembled the shaker part of the card. Since I had die cut the foam and the paper using the set, it was easy to match them up. These candy cane sprinkles are just ADORABLE and give the card so much whimsy. You can even use the sprinkles in other projects, like ornaments, as I did last year!
I used my Xyron sticker maker to add adhesive to the FRONT of the teddy bear pieces. This was so I could add fuzzy pink flocking to them and create the illusion of a cuddly teddy bear. I also did the same with the white part of the stocking, and added iridescent glitter to it.
My sticker maker made it really quick and easy to assemble the card!
I used a brick embossing folder to create the background for the card. I used stamps from a past Maker’s Movement Christmas set to add the sentiment to the card. Have fun crafting and creating your own stocking shaker cards!
