Foil labels for makers & sellers help your handcrafted products stand out. This is a sponsored post with OnlineLables.com but all ideas and opinions are my own.
Spring is here and it’s a great time for makers & sellers to spruce up their online marketplaces and start vending at outdoor markets. I’ve sold at two markets so far this year and one thing I’m careful not to overlook is my packaging. It’s easy to get caught up in the products we craft, but don’t forget to spend time thinking about how your handmade items will get from your booth or shop to the customer’s home.
Your packaging not only makes your item look professional, it shows how much thought and care you put into everything you make! Foil labels are a great way to make your packaging stand out. Here are two ways you can create foil labels at home, complete with free printable designs!
Foil Labels for Makers Supplies
- Bunny Labels Free Template
- Customizable Spring Labels Template
- Printable Triangle Labels
- Printable Circle Labels
- Laser Printer (optional)
- Foil (optional)
- Laminator (optional)
The simplest way to create foil labels is to start with a printable foil label as a base. OnlineLabels.com has gold and silver label paper in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, so all you have to do is print your design on it and stick! I created the spring bunny template to use on the gold foil triangle labels, which are beautiful for creating tags, decorating boxes, and sealing bags with.
Another way to add foil elements to your labels is to use foil paper with a laminating machine. First I printed my design out on white label paper using my laser printer. The template I created for this design is customizable, so you can change the text to say whatever you want! I provided three different options, but you can make them all the same message, add your business name, and more!
I’m using Minc reactive foil and my laminating machine to add a little foil to the text and leaves on this design. You can learn more about how to use Minc foil in this tutorial.
Now you have sheets of beautiful foiled labels to make your product packaging stand out! Peel and stick them on boxes and bags to create eye-catching packaging that your customers will be delighted to receive or to give as gifts!
