Use adorable printables with shrink plastic to make cute earrings!

DIY Shrink Plastic Earring Supply List

First you want to choose the fruit graphics that you wish to use and arrange them so they fit a standard 8.5 by 11 inch sheet of paper. I used Silhouette Design Studio to create my print file. I made each fruit piece approximately 3 inches tall. When my design was ready I printed it out on a sheet of white shrink plastic. I experimented by printing the image twice, once on my regular printer and once on my laser printer

I fussy cut all the images out and arranged them on a cookie sheet. Bake the shrink plastic per the directions on the packaging. Every brand varies, but mine only took 3 minutes to shrink down!

I did a side by side comparison to show how much the plastic shrunk. What started out as approximately three inches tall wound up being about an inch tall after baking!

Use Dimensional Magic to seal the adorable little shrink plastic fruit and give them a glossy top cover. When they are dry you can flip them over and glue the earring posts onto them.

I cut several earring display cards out from bright blue sky cardstock and added the earrings. These will be fun to add to Easter baskets or goody bags in the future!
