I know it doesn't feel like it yet, but I promise that Spring is around the corner! To help you beat those winter blues, why not brighten your wardrobe and accessories with bold pops of neon color? I made this fun, colorful tote bag using Tulip fabric paints, which can be found exclusively at Michaels and at i Love to Create. I was recently sent a fun neon pack of Tulip fabric paint to use: Tulip Dimensional Mini 3-pack, Tulip One Step Mini Tie Dye Kit, and Tulip Fabric Markers. I opted … [Read more...]

Animal Valentines Tutorial: Cute Papercrafts
Animal valentines are cute and easy to make! I love handmade Valentine's, and I try to encourage my kids to make their Valentines instead of buying them. I also made a "foxy" bag to hold the valentines in. I love American Craft cardstock. It's easy to cut and fold, yet firm enough … [Read more...]
How to Decorate a Table for a Broncos-SeaHawks Super Bowl Party
“This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Rubbermaid and Sharpie but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #RubbermaidSharpie http://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO” It happens every Super Bowl, no matter which teams make it to the finals: my two oldest sons ALWAYS cheer for opposing teams. When I posted my nursery reveal two years ago, I had every intent of updating it with more pictures and tutorials. OOPS! I recently rearranged my now two-year old's room, and realized I better take pictures and post a few details before it's time to turn it into a preschooler's room! Here are the details on my favorite room in the house.Even though this was my fourth child, it was the first time I could plan for a nursery in a home that I owned. We were renters before, so … [Read more...]
DIY “What Does the Fox Say?” Tote Bag and Shirt
OK, I realize a lot of you are sick of this song. "What does the fox say?" But my two year old LOVES it and sings it all the time, so I had to make this tote! This was a quick "I have a few minutes" project, so there are not a lot of step by step shots. I used my Silhouette cutting machine and Silhouette iron on heat transfer vinyl. I designed it myself by modifying several images and creating my own text boxes. Cut the vinyl, weed it, and iron it on. Now we have a fun … [Read more...]
