This beautiful home decor item was very easy and fun to make!  Make your own paper flowers to create a gorgeous floral topiary.
First I painted a 3 inch candlestick with crackle paint to give it an aged look.

Then I cut out my flowers using a shape from silhouette.  Making the flowers was the most time consuming part of the process!  You could also use premade flowers to speed things up.
I misted the paper lightly with water so I could use the toothpick to curl the petals.

This was just the beginning!  I made approximately 60 flowers.

When I was done I glued the styrofoam ball onto the candlestick,
then I began to glue the flowers onto the ball.
I think these would make darling centerpieces, too!

  9. I’ll have to look up the file name for you…it’s one of their 3D shapes. Maybe a video tutorial or Google Hangout would make it easier to show how I rolled them?
