How I made a Costa Rica vacation travel album that is laminated. This is a sponsored post.

This summer I realized a long-awaited dream of taking my family to Costa Rica. My husband and I had been there once before, and we often reminisced about how much we enjoyed our vacation there. We knew we wanted to take our family there someday, and we made it happen last summer. It was an incredible experience that we all still talk about fondly.

I have been meaning to get the many pictures I took off my phone and camera to print, and I am finally getting around to it. I was sent some beautiful paper packs and other fun items from the Teresa Collins line, and they inspired me to put together a mini album for my youngest two kids to take to school. I laminated the pages with my Xyron Creative Station so I don’t have to worry about losing any of the photos.

I used my HP Sprocket 2-in-1 printer to make the fun-sized photo prints. I used the Sprocket app to add music and movement to my photos…make sure you check out my video clip to see what I mean!

Supplies Used to make the Costa Rica Vacation Travel Album DIY:

Use the double sided laminate with Teresa Collins confetti embellishments. Drop a few into the machine, turn the handle a quarter turn, and repeat.

This will create fun, see-through screens to use in the photo book. Trim the sheets so they measure 4″x6″.

Choose your favorite photos, edit them as desired, and print them out.

I trimmed several 12 inch papers from Teresa Collin’s new Azure collection into 4″x6″ pieces. I used various paper elements from her other collections (like Wander) with my photos to create the pages.

I used my Xyron Teresa Collins Mega Runner to hold the large pieces in place.

I scattered some of the confetti on the pages before rolling them through the Xyron Creative Station to laminate them.

Now my pages are protected from little fingers!

I punched a hole in one corner of each page and held them together with a key ring loop.

This video shows you what happens when you use the Sprocket App to scan the edited photos.

I love how the confetti pages add some “fiesta” and whimsy to each page.

This Costa Rica vacation travel album is a fun way for my kids and me to relive our adventure as we enjoy pictures from our fabulous vacation.

It will be easy for me to print and assemble more pages and just keep adding on to this vacation photo album DIY!
