Happy Summerween! These fun DIY Bone Appétit tags are perfect for summer parties of all kinds: pirate themed, ocean themed, and of course summerween. I used stunning ultra metallic vinyls from StyleTech Craft to create utensil tags that shimmer like the ocean waves.

Bone Appétit Tags Supply List
- StyleTech Craft Ultra Metallic Vinyl (ocean blue and iridescent silver)
- Transfer Tape
- Weeding and transfer tools
- Cardstock (I used metallic gold)
- Cutting Machine (I used a Silhouette Cameo)
- Piranha bones clip art
- String
Steps to Make Bone Appétit Tags

- Find clip art that you like to create the cut file, or purchase a design online. Load the clip art to your design studio and cut the piranha bones from the silver ultra metallic vinyl, the background from the blue metallic vinyl, and the tag from cardstock.
- Weed the vinyl. For small designs with intricate details, like the piranha bones, I like to reverse weed. This means that I put the transfer tape on the entire piece of vinyl, remove the paper backing, and then carefully peel the excess vinyl off the transfer tape. This leaves just the design stuck to the tape.
- Transfer the blue backing to the cardstock tag. Then transfer the piranha skeleton to the blue vinyl. Add the string and tie the tag to your wrapped utensils.

These tags are quick and easy to make, and they add a fun pop of color and humor to the party table setting. I’ll be sharing how I made the other elements of my Summerween party in upcoming tutorials, so check back soon!

Have fun crafting and creating custom party decor with StyleTech Craft vinyl! This is a sponsored post but all ideas and opinions are my own.
