Bone Appetit Summerween tags DIY

Happy Summerween! These fun DIY Bone Appétit tags are perfect for summer parties of all kinds: pirate themed, ocean themed, and of course summerween. I used stunning ultra metallic vinyls from StyleTech Craft to create utensil tags that shimmer like the ocean waves.

Steps to Make Bone Appétit Tags

how to make custom vinyl silverware tags
  1. Find clip art that you like to create the cut file, or purchase a design online. Load the clip art to your design studio and cut the piranha bones from the silver ultra metallic vinyl, the background from the blue metallic vinyl, and the tag from cardstock.
  2. Weed the vinyl. For small designs with intricate details, like the piranha bones, I like to reverse weed. This means that I put the transfer tape on the entire piece of vinyl, remove the paper backing, and then carefully peel the excess vinyl off the transfer tape. This leaves just the design stuck to the tape.
  3. Transfer the blue backing to the cardstock tag. Then transfer the piranha skeleton to the blue vinyl. Add the string and tie the tag to your wrapped utensils.
