Create a colorful patriotic flower pot with metallic vinyl to decorate for the Fourth of July. This is a sponsored post with StyleTech Craft but all ideas and opinions are my own.
When I saw this design in the Silhouette Design Store recently I knew I had to buy it! Flowers and Lady Liberty? YES, PLEASE! I love the floral twist on the Statue of Liberty and knew it would be perfect for creating unique Fourth of July decor. Since I’m obsessed with all of StyleTech Craft’s metallic vinyls I immediately reached for red and blue sheets of vinyl to start this quick project. Here’s how I made these patriotic flower pots to decorate my home for the Fourth of July.
Patriotic Flower Pot Supplies Used
- Red and Blue Metalized Vinyl from StyleTech Craft
- Transfer Tape
- Weeding Tools
- Silhoutte Cameo 4 Cutting Machine
- Floral Fourth of July cut file available in the Silhouette Store
- 4 inch white plastic planter
Start by cutting the blue vinyl. You’ll cut the SVG file as is from the metallic blue vinyl. These metallic sheets often have a thin protective film on top of them (the keep fingerprints off) so remove it if there is one there.
Then separate the pieces and only cut the flowers from the red vinyl.
Weed the vinyl and use transfer tape to put it all together! Transfer the patriotic and shiny Lady Liberty to the plastic flower pot.
Fill the pot with flowers, streamers, plants, or whatever you want to use to decorate with. You could use this idea on a plastic container to decorate utensil holders. There are so many fun ways to use vinyl to decorate for the holidays! I hope you’ll give this idea a try!
I’m a proud member of the StyleTech Craft design team. Check out more fun DIY vinyl tutorials HERE.

I love the way the metallic vinyl pops on the white vase.
