This DIY is perfect for events, photo props, or unique home decor. I made this one to decorate for Valentine’s day, but it would also be perfect for Christmas, Halloween, and parties! Giant Chocolate Candy Bar Decor DIY Supplies
- Oly-Fun Fabric: Metallic Gold
- Oly-Fun Fabric: Bubble Gum Pink
- Foam board
- Foam take out containers
- Apple Barrel Melted Chocolate Paint
- Hot glue
- Heart shaped cookie cutter
- Fabric Glue
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Separate the styrofoam take out containers into “chocolate bar” pieces.
- Arrange the squares on the foam core board and trim the board if needed to remove excess.
- Arrange and glue the pieces together into a realistic layout.
- Paint everything in rich chocolatey tones.
- Cut gold hearts to decorate the wrapper.
- Wrap the “chocolate bar” with the Metallic Gold Oly-Fun Fabric first, then with the Bubble Gum Pink Oly-Fun Fabric.
- Peel the wrapper back to reveal the candy bar and set up your display.
Other Tips:
- Use different colors of Oly-Fun Fabric to create a variety of candy bars.
- Instead of hearts, cut words or other shapes to customize your giant candy bar for your theme.
- This project is lightweight, making it easy to display anywhere!
