You will need equal parts glue and starch. If you want to add color, add some tempera paint to your glue first. (I prefer tempera paint over food coloring because it doesn’t stain.) After you have the color you want, pour in the starch and begin mixing. If it’s still too sticky, just keep adding starch till it reaches the consistency you want. If you have too much starch in the end you can just pour it out and rinse your slime in water.
Make your own Slime!
Looking for a way to keep the kids (our yourself!) entertained this summer?
Make slime with two household ingredients!
This is a favorite activity in our home!
I have even had kids make this as a birthday party/take home activity.
All you need is:
Glue
(I recommend Elmer’s School Glue. I ended up with a gummy mess when we used a generic glue.)
Liquid starch
Washable paint
(optional. I don’t like using food coloring because it stains.)
You’re done! Wasn’t that fast, frugal, and fabulous? Have fun playing with slime this summer!
Thank you for visiting my corner! I’d love for you to follow via Facebook or Google Friends to keep up with my latest projects!

Morena,I’m a child of the 80’s so I grew up watching kids being “slimmed” on Nickelodeon. This seems like a fun and easy activity for the kiddos. Thanks for sharing.
