Make floral Fourth of July table decor to quickly decorate for the holiday!
This red, white, and blut floral Fourth of July table decor project is perfect for outside events. The bark on the wood rounds have a natural, rustic, look that combines well with the brightly colored flowers. This quick project will look great in your home or at your get together.
Supplies Used to Make Floral Fourth of July Table Decor:
- Thick wood round with bark
- Thin wood rounds with bark
- Styrofoam ball
- Fabric flowers: red, white, blue
- Hot glue gun
- Flower stencil
- Craft Paint: Red, white, blue
- Wire cutters
- Ribbon
Cut the styrofoam ball in half. I use a large bread knife to carefully cut the styrofoam with a sawing motion. Use hot glue to attach the styrofoam to the thick wood round. Now we have a base to attach the flowers to.
Cut the fabric flowers from the bunch using wire cutters. Press the wire ends of the flowers into the styrofoam ball.
Continue until the styrofoam ball is covered with the flowers. I placed the blue flowers on 1/3 of the styrofoam ball, then added red and white stripes of flowers.
Wrap ribbon around the wood disc and use hot glue to hold it in place. I used a wide red ribbon first, then placed a flag ribbon over the red ribbon.
Paint the tops of the thin wood rounds with white paint. Let the paint dry completely.
Place a floral stencil over the painted wood.
Fill in various parts of the stencil with red or blue paint. Remove the stencil and let the paint dry.
I like how the flowers remind me of bursting fireworks! It’s pretty and patriotic at the same time. Have fun crafting and creating this floral Fourth of July table decor!
