This furball friends tutorial will teach you how to make a cute plush toy!
This fun plush DIY was inspired by our newest guinea pig, Ozzy. We just love his crazy, wild hair! One of our piggies, sweet Raven (who you might remember from this video), passed away unexpectedly in September. We were all devastated.
When we were finally ready to find a new playmate for our other guinea pig, Speedy, we returned to Second Chance Cavy Rescue. The team there does a wonderful job of taking in unwanted piggies and finding them new homes. They also do match ups to make sure that whoever we brought home would be compatible with our other guinea pig. Ozzy has been one of their medical cases, and was ill and underweight when surrendered. After surgery and lots of TLC, he was ready to find a family. I fell for him the moment I saw him and requested that he be considered for our home.
Luckily, Ozzy and Speedy got along beautifully, and we were able to bring this adorable little ball of fur home! He has such a fun personality and is very sweet and friendly. Inspired by Ozzy, I made these cute, fuzzy Furball Friends for my kids to be able to take to school with them and carry anywhere. I hope you’ll enjoy making your own furry friend to keep you company, too!
