Learn how to use dies and shaker sprinkles to create your own adorable party favor or costume with this Halloween glasses tutorial. This is a sponsored post with Maker’s Movement.
I’ve always loved shaker cards but never tried them until I got these new die sets and shaker sprinkles! The sets make it incredible easy and fun to make your own shaker cards or, in this case, shaker glasses!! I loved the shape of these cauldrons and realized they would be perfect for making fun Halloween glasses. The adorable shaker sprinkles just add to the fun and whimsy of these glasses.
Halloween Glasses Tutorial Supplies
- Witch Please Maker’s Movement Die and Stamp Set
- Maker’s Movement Spooky Shaker Sprinkles
- Clear Acetate Sheets
- Double Sided Adhesive Craft Foam
- Xyron Creative Station with Laminate + Adhesive Cartridge
- Cardstock
- Crossover II Die Cutting Machine
Roll black Halloween paper through the Xyron Creative station to add laminate to one side and adhesive to the other. This will make the glasses sturdier and more stable.
Die cut the cauldron outlines from the laminated paper. You will need 4.
Die cut 4 cauldrons from the clear acetate.
Peel the backing off the cauldrons to reveal the adhesive. Place the plastic on top.
Cut thin strips of the foam tape to line the cauldron with.
Cut the glasses arms and a line for the nose bridge. Place these on the foam tape.
Add a few shaker sprinkles to the cauldron, and cover with another acetate cauldron.
Place the final cauldron on top after peeling the backing off to expose the adhesive.
Aren’t they cute? These will be fun to decorate pumpkins or skulls with! If you plan to use them as part of a costume or as decor, add a little glue (hot glue on a low temp works) to the arms of the glasses to reinforce them. Have fun crafting and creating for Halloween!
