Create the illusion of engraved metal with this elegant vinyl etched champagne bucket. This is a sponsored post.
Have you ever tried etching glass or metal? I have, and it’s fun to do but the chemicals are pretty harsh and you have to take a lot of precautions. Because it’s winter and I don’t want to craft outside or keep the windows open to let fumes out, I decided to try something different. I used glass etch vinyl from StyleTechCraft to create this vinyl etched champagne bucket. I love the way it turned out! I think this would be a fun way to personalize table decor for Valentine’s Day, anniversaries, bridal showers, and more!
Vinyl Etched Champagne Bucket Supplies
- Glass Etch Vinyl from StyleTechCraft
- Plastic silver bucket from Dollar Tree
- Transfer Tape
- Silhouette Cutting Machine
- Weeding Tools
I chose the design that I wanted from the Silhouette Design Store and cut the beautiful “love” word heart graphic from the glass etch vinyl.
Because the text was so detailed, I decided to use transfer tape to apply the entire image to the silver bucket, then I weeded the excess vinyl off the bucket. I’ve never tried this before but it seemed to go faster and be easier to do than weeding it the usual way. I didn’t lose any letter or tiny heart in the process!
The glass etch vinyl really creates the look of etched metal! I was very pleased with how it turned out. It would be fun to add monograms to this to create something custom for a shower or other budget event. These vinyl etch champagne buckets would look cute on the tables for a sip and see, going away party, or other gathering. Have fun crafting and creating with vinyl!
