Delight people you love on St. Patrick’s Day with these rainbow seeds treat bags! This is a sponsored post with Printable Cuttable Creatables but all ideas and opinions are my own.
Who hasn’t dreamed of finding the end of a rainbow and the mythical pot of gold? This cute treat plays off the idea of finding a magical rainbow. These “rainbow seed” treat bags are quick to make, so they’re perfect for giving large groups like a class full of kids.
Rainbow Seeds Treat Bags Supplies
- Happy Go Lucky SVG file
- Clear snack or sandwich bags
- White Cardstock
- Tape
- Skittles or other rainbow colored candy
First I added the text “rainbow seeds” to the file. Then I used the print feature in my design software to print the image onto white cardstock paper.
To add some shimmer and sparkle to my design (and to make it look like a cool sticker!) I cut just the rainbow out from clear glitter vinyl. (This is transparent glitter vinyl by Style Tech Craft Vinyl.)
Then I transferred the clear glitter vinyl to layer it on top of the rainbow only.
You can see from the closeup that the SVG file made it easy to perfectly cut out just the rainbow portion, right down to the little pieces between the letters.
I used my paper cutter to cut and score the treat bag tags. I filled a sandwich bag with rainbow colored skittles, and taped the label on top of the plastic bag.
I can’t wait to surprise my kids with this on St. Patrick’s Day! I know the idea of rainbow seeds will make them giggle! This would be a fun project to give to a large group, like a classroom or camp. Have fun crafting and creating for the people that you love!
