Personalized Easter Basket Tags Supply List
- Split Bunny SVG File
- Editing Program to add Text (I used Silhouette Studio)
- 3mm Basswood
- xTool S1 Laser Cutter
- Glue
- Paint Markers or Sharpies
I used wood and my laser cutter to make these tags, but you can also make them with cardstock or chipboard using your cutting machine! Start by opening the file in whatever program you use to cut with. The PCC download comes with two bunnies, one with a bow tie and one with the bow on the ear! Add a name in the opening of the design. Then outline the design.
I set my laser cutter to cut the outline of the design. I set the name to engrave, and the rest was set to score. You can adjust the design to fit your machine.
I tried two different styles for my Easter basket tags. On one I cut the bows separately and glued them on. You can leave the wood as is or use markers to color in the details.
To create a more rustic look, I cut these from darker wood and didn’t color them. I love that this simple change gives these tags a vintage feel!
The pieces of this design can be separated if you want to layer paper or vinyl instead. Have fun crafting and creating personalized basket tags this Easter!
