Learn how easy it is to use sublimation sheets to create a Princess Tote Bag.
Today I’m going to share a magical project made with beautiful Printable Cuttable Creatable designs and my Silhouette Cameo! This tote bag is fit for a princess and very easy to make. As often as possible I try to deliver gifts in something that can be reused or repurposed. This way, instead of throwing out wrapping paper or a gift bag the recipient will have something they can use again! DIY tote bags have been a fun way to create something special that also can be used to deliver the birthday present.
I love the look of sublimation ink but didn’t want to invest in a printer. (I mean, I’d love one but where would I put it? LOL!) Instead I purchased sublimation ink sheets from Amazon that I can cut and use! The pack I ordered has a variety of star and space designs in vibrant colors. I used a sparkly galaxy print to make this *magical* project, and I paired it with shiny metallic HTV to enhance the empowering message to “shine”.
Unicorn Tote Bag Supplies:
- Believe in Magic Unicorn (a FREE file!)
- Princess Castle Silhouette File
- Infusible Transfer Ink Sheets 12 x 12 inches
- Metallic HTV
- Cutting Machine
- Sublimation Tote
- Iron
First cut the large background image from the desired ink transfer paper, and iron it onto the tote following the package instructions. Then cut the text and accents from the shiny HTV vinyl and iron them on top of the inked image.
The ink transfer sheets create a dreamy, colorful backdrop. The shiny metallic HTV gives it extra shine and “wow” factor! This beautiful tote will be perfect as a substitute for a party gift bag, and the recipient can enjoy it long after the party is over. Have fun spreading magic and joy with this sweet handmade tote bag gift!
