No matter what your age, retro themed parties are FUN! I used cute retro flower SVGs to make one-of-a-kind drink pouches for a “flower power” themed event. These groovy flowers make me think of childhood, which makes them perfect for this throwback themed drink! Capri-Sun pouches are also a part of our childhood, but that doesn’t mean we want to serve them at our event. Use drink pouches for adults that you can personalize and fill with your beverage of choice!

I decided to go with a retro inspired yellow and orange color palette for this project. I chose a vibrant orange sheet of vinyl, a coral colored sheet, and a bright yellow sheet of StyleTech Craft vinyl. The white that you see on the design is the sun change vinyl that changes color when sunlight hits it. It will change from white to yellow, so the colors coordinate with the design either way.
I separated the layers of the flower SVG design and chose which color to cut them from.
After cutting and weeding all of the elements, I used transfer tape to assemble the flowers and add them to the drink pouch.
When it’s time for the party, simply fill the pouches with your beverage of choice, and attach the straw to the top. Your guests will be amazed to see the flowers change colors when the sun hits it! As an added bonus, these pouches can be reused, so your guests can handwash them and use them several times, which will reduce waste!
