✂️ DIY Fall Leaf Bowl Supplies List
- Oly-Fun® fabric in fall colors (orange, red, green, gold, brown—mix it up!)
- A bowl (any size works!)
- Plastic wrap
- Scissors
- Leaf template or real leaves for tracing
- Mod Podge (matte or gloss)
- Mod Podge Crystal Clear (optional but adds strength)
- Foam brush or paintbrush
- Optional: Glitter Mod Podge ✨
- Optional bowl fillers: pinecones, acorns, nuts, faux leaves, LED candles
🍂 Let’s Make It!
1. Pick Your Colors
Choose a few shades of Oly-Fun fabric that give off fall vibes—think pumpkin spice, hot cider, and cozy sweater weather.
2. Cut Out Leaves
Trace leaf shapes onto the fabric and cut them out. You can use a printable leaf template or trace around real leaves from outside.
3. Prep Your Bowl
Flip your bowl upside down and wrap it in plastic wrap. This keeps the glue from sticking to the bowl while your project dries.
4. Add the Leaves
Brush Mod Podge onto a leaf and press it onto the bowl. Keep overlapping leaves until the whole bowl is covered. It’s okay if it looks messy at this point—trust the process. 😉
5. Seal It
Brush another layer of Crystal Clear Mod Podge over the top to help the leaves stick together. This makes your bowl stronger, too!
6. Wrap & Dry
Cover the whole thing with another layer of plastic wrap, pressing gently so the leaves mold to the shape of the bowl. Let it dry overnight.
7. Reveal the Magic
Peel away the plastic wrap and gently lift your leaf bowl off the mold. Let it finish drying upright.
