Ever since I learned how to make these adorable birds nests here, I have been thinking of other ways to use them. With spring on the brain and a real bird’s nest built outside our front door, I came up with this headband.
After making my nest I folded up a piece of tulle and cut it in a circle shape.
I sewed through the center
and used the thread to attach the nest to the tulle.
My three little nestled nests.
I sewed them onto a strip of felt, and sewed that onto a FOE (fold over elastic) headband.
Cute for babies, too!
