The Perfect Little Black Sofa for any Room

 

I wrote in a previous post about my ordering experience purchasing the Cooper Sofa Convertible from Sauder’s online site.  At the time, I had the sofa in my tween’s bedroom, and it looked great with his car themed room.

I’m decorating the room with a retro touch, and going with a red/black/white color scheme.  The silver legs and the simple lines on this LBS make it a perfect match for this room.  I’ve paired it with my double suitcase side table and my cube ottoman.

 

What my kids love most about this sofa, however, is the fact that it reclines!  With a simple push forward and then a click back, the sofa turns into a futon-like bed.  It’s easy enough for the kids to do on their own, and they prefer to lounge on the sofa instead of laying on the floor.  It’s also great for sleep overs, and we often have disputes over who is going to get to sleep on the couch.

While I love the way my LBS looks in my movie room, I could see it used in lots of other settings.  It would be a great addition to a home office.  With it’s compact size and sleek appearance, it will give a comtemporary office a nice finished look.  I’ve paired it with a cheery orange tray table from Sauder in this picture.  You can’t go wrong with a clean and simple design!

This LBS would provide a nice little reading spot in a master bedroom.  If my kids didn’t love it so much in the movie room, I’d sneak it away to my bedroom to use.  The sofa matches my bedroom’s damask decor nicely, and would make a comfy place to put up my feet and relax with a crafting magazine.

I love my little black sofa from Sauder, and I know I will get years of use from it!  It’s an incredibly versatile piece, and looks much more expensive than it is.  I like that I never had to leave my home to buy it, either.  From my order online to the delivery, the process was incredibly easy and quick.
