Create a breakfast bar for your overnight house guests. This is a sponsored post with At Home Stores but all ideas and opinions are my own.
From sleepovers to visiting family members to holiday guests, we often have visitors staying in our home. I’m not a morning person, so breakfast can be tricky for me when we have overnight guests. Do I wake up early and wait for them to rise so I can fix breakfast? Do I let them help themselves and rummage through my pantry? Inspired by my hotel stays, I decided instead to create a breakfast bar for my overnight visitors. This simple solution was easy to put together and looks great, too!
I love polka dots, so I was immediately drawn to the adorable polka dot plates I found in my local At Home store. It was part of a coordinating set, which made creating this breakfast bar super simple. I opted for a drink dispenser, a small tray, and bowls to complete my bar. Some “celebrate” cups and striped napkins helped add the finishing touches.
When my guests wake up, they can help themselves to whichever breakfast items they like. I set out donuts, fresh fruit, and orange juice for them to enjoy when they are ready. Of course, there’s coffee, too! I couldn’t resist adding a cute sign to my breakfast bar. It says “Bed and Breakfast: You Make Both.” Hey, it’s true! I cut the sign out of vinyl and added it to a chalkboard, but I also made a printable to make this project simpler. I’m sharing the free printable file here if you would like to print it out and put it in a frame to add to your breakfast bar.
Have fun crafting and creating your own breakfast bar for your overnight guests!
