Crafty Chica’s new line of paper products with Maker’s Movement is so fun and cheerful that it’s PERFECT for making this sweet gracias gift boxes. Let someone know how much you appreciate them with this easy to make project!
I used a file from Silhouette Design Studio to quickly cut all my papers, and then assembly was a breeze. I sized my boxes so that they would hold a yummy concha treat inside. I purchased prepackaged treats so I could just slip them into the treat box. I was so tickled that Crafty Chica included concha themed papers in her collection! They were exactly what I needed for this project.
Gracias Gift Box Supplies
- Crafty Chica Buenas Vibras Paper Collection
- Treat bag cut file (or search Pinterest to find a template)
- Xyron Tape Runner
- Ribbon or string
- Treats (I used Bimbo Conchas)
My Silhouette cutting machine did most of the work for me! First I cut the bag template from 12×12 sheets of solid colored cardstock. I made sure they coordinated with the patterned paper.
Then I cut the panels from the Crafty Chica papers. I also chose die cut tags from the ephemera pack to decorate the bags with.
I assembled the boxes and used my Xyron Mega Tape Runner to hold the tabs together.
All that was left to do was to place the treat in the gracias gift boxes, tie them closed with some colorful string, and gift them! These colorful boxes are a fun way to brighten anyone’s day!
