How fun is this dinosaur Santa? This cute and colorful guy makes an unexpected gift or piece of decor for Christmas in July with Xyron. This is a sponsored post.
Rawr! Welcome to Christmas in July! This dinosaur would make a hilarious gift, don’t you think? I have had a blast creating party animals using thrifted toy animals. Now I’m making a few Christmas themed animals, like this cute dinosaur Santa! I used several items from Xyron’s Holiday Gift Wrap Bundle which is 50% off right now for their Christmas in July sale!
Dinosaur Santa Christmas in July Supplies
- Xyron Holiday Gift Wrap Bundle
- T-rex toy
- Red paint
- Red Glitter Paint
- Coarse Glitter
- Cardstock
- Small cabochons, beads, and/or Christmas miniatures
- Xyron Glue Gun
I started by painting the shirt onto the T-rex toy.
The Xyron sticker maker works GREAT with fabric, so I ran some fleece strips through the sticker maker to help finish Christmas Santa’s jacket.
I cut small boxes from Christmas themed papers, then ran them face down through the sticker maker. I want the box to be sticky so I can glitter it!
Assemble the box. Since the adhesive is already on the front, just carefully fold on the scored lines and put the box together.
Sprinkle the stickered box with coarse glitter to make it more Christmas like!
Use the Xyron hot glue gun to add different elements to the Christmas dinosaur’s back. Use whatever you have on hand to embellish this fun T-rex!
I added a mini tree, then glued on the tiny gift boxes I had made. A few tiny beads were glued to the tree, and I also added a star and a bow to finish off the scene.
All that’s left to do is add the Christmas tag from the Xyron bundle and gift this cute Christmas dinosaur Santa! Check out my Etsy shop for more fun critters like this one!
