It’s party time! This week I will be sharing ideas so you can host an old fashioned, vintage themed birthday party!
I searched for images in my vintage book collection, scanned them, and created an invitation that resembled a flashcard. To save time, I placed all the images on one sheet so I could just fold the paper in half twice and be done. It looked like this before it was folded:
I used the same invitation images to decorate their cakes. I took them to the Walmart Bakery to have picture cakes made. They aren’t perfect but they turned out cute.
The “P is for Party” free printable is here.
The boy and girl free printables are found here.
Please check back all week as I’ll be sharing how I made:
party pennants
pinwheel decor
carnival games
and a
prize booth
Hope to see you back tomorrow for more vintage book party fun!
