Pennants are very easy to make, and they can be used in so many ways! I made these for my son’s first birthday, where I had a vintage book party theme.
This week I have been sharing details of the vintage book themed party I recently threw. I shared my free printable invitations here and my easy pinwheel DIY here.
As with the pinwheel, I used old Golden Book pages to make the pennants. I simply cut the pages into triangles, punched holes in the top corners, and strung twine through them. I had some extra invitations, so I added them to the pennants, too!
I punched two inch circles from paper and added cardstock stickers to make the sign for the prize booth.
I used the book covers with the invitation printable to make a pennant banner for the high chair.

This is a wonderful idea using the pages of old vintage books! Looking at what you made brought by “memories”! The invited parents and grandparents should have had “WOW” moments over your decorations! Love it!
