Who would have thought that glass and glitter from Dollar Tree could look so chic?  Read on to learn how easy it is to make this fall inspired pendant!

I love the ombre trend that is so “in” right now, and I had noticed how the packs of glitter from the Dollar Tree are already lined up in a pretty ‘ombre-like’ way.  So I combined the glitter with a fun star glass floral stone, also from Dollar Tree, to make this pendant that my kids keep stealing from me.
Supplies:
Double sided tape
Glass floral stone
glitter
Glossy Accents
1.  Apply strips of double sided tape to the reverse of the stone.
2.  Trim the tape.
3.  Remove one strip backing at a time and apply glitter.  Continue with each color.
4.  Seal with Glossy Accents.
5.  Adhere a bail using E-6000.
Honestly, I like the back so much that next time I will do this process on the FRONT of the stone so the glitter shows like you see in the picture below.

It doesn’t look like something that cost a few bucks and a couple of minutes to make, does it?
Thank you so much for letting me hang out with you today!  You can also find me on FacebookTwitter, and Pinterest.  Have a wonderful day!

Oooh, I love those stars! I haven’t seen them, I’ll have to be on the lookout! And I agree, it’s beautiful with that coat of Glossy Accents on the back. You could have the look go either way, front or back!

I’m not surprised at all that you made this Morena! It’s so great – I love stars, so this is particularly awesome. 😀

This looks awesome! I’ve wanted to make this since I saw the post, but I can not find Glossy Accents. I’ve also heard of something supposedly similar called Diamond Glaze that I can’t find, either. Where did you buy yours?

  19. Alyssa, I bought it at Michael’s (look near the Ranger/tim Holtz items). I have also purchased it on Etsy. I haven’t tried this version but it seems similar: http://www.consumercrafts.com/store/details/catalog/scrapbooking-and-paper-glue/dc30-15

    I hope that helps!

  20. It looks like this Etsy seller no longer sells them, but maybe you can find something similar. This is what I used: https://www.etsy.com/transaction/24739498
