I’ve made no secret of the fact that I looooove pranks. Always have, always will! I’ve shared several simple prank ideas on my site over the years, and today I’m updating one of my most popular gags. THIS roach prank was my first post to go big, and I found a way to make it quicker and easier to pull off. By using clear labels from OnlineLabels.com you can pull of this prank in a few minutes.

I have a very brief video tutorial to show you how easy this project is, as well as some ideas for where to place your bugs. My kids really enjoyed this prank, and using clear labels from OnlineLabels.com made it super easy for my kids to stick their bugs anywhere.
Step one: Order label OL150 from OnlineLabels.com and download my free template here.
Step two: Print the images on the labels. I used an ink jet printer with OL150 ink jet labels and they come out perfectly, with no smearing or smudging of the ink!
Step three: Peel off the label with the bug on it and stick it on the desired surface. For the smaller bugs or for smaller surfaces, trim around the outline of the insect and then stick it on.
I like to stick these in darker places, like inside closet doors and at the base of a toilet. The farther away it is from eye level, the easier it is to create the illusion! It’s also fun to put this on sandwich bags and slip them into lunch boxes. No one expects to find a roach in their lunchbox! Have fun pranking people with this easy bug prank!
This is a sponsored post but all ideas and opinions are my own.
[…] Since the roach prank was so popular, I updated it a few years later to add spiders and ants, and I modified it to make it quicker and easier to pull off. You can see that tutorial by clicking HERE. […]
